A Friend

The song "A Friend" is a late 1980s Filipino ballad that was recorded by Filipino balladeer Keno. It talks about having a true friend that guides, cares, enlivens, shares and corrects mistakes in a loving way. The last verse of the song seems to imply a relationship that is more than just a friend, which is having a life-long partner. A Friend I've still been searching And long have I waited For someone to like me as me To laugh with, to cry with To be just beside with A friend that's who I need To fight with, make up with To know that you need them Believing that they need you, too To walk hand in hand with To argue, to talk with A friend that's who I need And even though I make mistakes And never do anything right A smile, a hug, can change all that And everything will be alright Someone who'll share all my dreams and ambitions Someone who'll love me as me I need this person, someone to rely on A friend that's who I need A friend that's who I n...

If

"If" is a 1990s song by singer/composer Nelson del Castillo. The song talks about a man who wants to show his sincere feelings to a woman that he truly loves. This man illustrates his love through a series of conditions like if someone else would come, the man wishes or hopes it would be someone who will love her more than he is. The title of the song is based on these series of conditions. In 2007, the melody of this song was incorporated in Jim Brickman's all-piano instrumental "Hope", which is included in the album with the same name. The inclusion of this track on Brickman’s album stirred some controversy because Brickman did not give credit to Del Castillo’s original work. To avoid copyright infringement, Brickman e-mailed Del Castillo for an apology regarding the fiasco. If If you see that love shine through Don't be afraid to show me that you care And I will take all the doubts in you And show you what to do And find a way to make you feel That I ...

I can't deny it, now you are gone This is the first time Can I make it through?
