The song “4 Minutes" is the initial single from the album Hard Candy by American singer-songwriter Madonna, collaborating with American singers Justine Timberlake and Timbaland who also co-wrote and produced the song. This eleventh studio album of Madonna was released last March 17, 2008 by Warner Bros. Records. When the song hit the Top 10 at the Billboard Hot 100, Madonna has outdone Elvis Presley as the recording artist with the most hits in the Top 10. It also became her 37th Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit. Occasionally, the song is referred to as “4 Minutes to Save the World", as well as by Madonna herself. The first airing of the song happened when Timbaland performed portions of the song during a concert on December 16, 2007 in Philadelphia , United States of America .
