Hold On

"Hold On" is a song by Filipino 1990s rock group Neocolours. In 2007, it was used by GMA Network in the Philippines as a theme song for the Korean drama Jumong, which sung by Shamrock, another rock group.

Hold On

Hey, baby, how's life been movin' on?
I can't deny it, now you are gone
This is the first time
Can I make it through?
Without you now, do the things I used to do

It's getting harder to ease the pain
The feeling changes, love still remains
I don't know how if I can get this right
Maybe given time
I'll make the most of what I've got

Is this the price we pay
With all the good times we shared
Faithfully, we've got a reason to go on
I know it's good to be true
Just spend the nights with you
Let me tell you that our love can make it through

Hold on, baby hold on
We've got to go on now
This feeling so strong
Hold on, baby hold on
It's a burning desire
Comin' right down the wire

Sweet talking it's all in the line
There's no turning back
Unless you make up your mind
The expectations after all of these years
Risin' to the moment let's forget all our fears

Is this the love we have
With all the good times we shared
Faithfully, we've got a reason to go on
I know it's good to be true
Just spend the nights with you
Let me tell you that our love can make it through

Hold on, baby hold on
We've got to go on now
This feeling so strong
Hold on, baby hold on
It's a burning desire
Comin' right down the wire

And when the night is over
Well, no one can deny it
Got to believe in
We couldn't ask for more
Than to hold each other tight
It's just we'll never take things for granted

Hold on, baby hold on
We've got to go on now
This feeling so strong
Hold on, baby hold on
It's a burning desire
Comin' right down the wire
Hold on, baby hold on (hold on)
We've got to go on now
(You can hold on to me while I hold on to you)
Hold on, baby hold on (hold on)

Esem

"Esem" is a mid-1990s hit from Filipino rock group Yano, which is included on their eponymous album. The song is a reference to SM City North Edsa, the very first super mall established by SM Prime Holdings, in Quezon City, Philippines. This mall is one of the favorite tambayan (hangout) of some University of the Philippines students, which members of Yano (Dong Abay and Eric Gancio) belong. In this song, they recount their experiences while loitering inside the mall without any money to buy things except for transportation fare and two cigarettes. It shows the true iskolar ng bayan (scholars of the nation), who strive hard to study with their little allowances.

Laklak

" Laklak " is an alternative rock song by Filipino band Teeth. The song is included in their double-platinum eponymous album in 1995. " Laklak " reached number 1 for 12 weeks in LA-105, a former alternative rock station in Manila, and was voted as Song of the Year at 1995 NU 107 Rock Awards. "Laklak" was re-recorded to fit the mainstream audience. The lyrics of the song are somewhat controversial because it talks about alcoholism in the youth. Although, it can also viewed as a way to avoid alcoholism because the song shows how too much drinking can make a person looked like a police who has a big tummy. In 2002, a cover version by Gloc 9 and Dong Abay is included in the soundtrack of Videoke King , a Filipino film, which stars Robin Padilla and Pops Fernandez. This version of "Laklak" is included in the self-titled album of Gloc 9. Laklak Nagsimula sa patikimtikim Pinilit kong gustuhin Bisyo'y nagsimulang lumalim Kaya ngayon ang hirap t...
