"If" is a 1990s song by singer/composer Nelson del Castillo. The song talks about a man who wants to show his sincere feelings to a woman that he truly loves. In 2007, the melody of this song was incorporated in Jim Brickman's all-piano instrumental "Hope", which is included in the album with the same name. The inclusion of this track on Brickman’s album stirred some controversy because Brickman did not give credit to Del Castillo’s original work.
