4 Minutes

The song “4 Minutes" is the initial single from the album Hard Candy by American singer-songwriter Madonna, collaborating with American singers Justine Timberlake and Timbaland who also co-wrote and produced the song. This eleventh studio album of Madonna was released last March 17, 2008 by Warner Bros. Records. When the song hit the Top 10 at the Billboard Hot 100, Madonna has outdone Elvis Presley as the recording artist with the most hits in the Top 10. It also became her 37th Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit.

Occasionally, the song is referred to as “4 Minutes to Save the World", as well as by Madonna herself. The first airing of the song happened when Timbaland performed portions of the song during a concert on December 16, 2007 in Philadelphia, United States of America. The song also has a short appearance on YouTube and Perez Hilton but eventually Warner Bros. ordered the clips to be detached for copyright infringement.

4 minutes

(Timbaland)

I'm outta time and all I got is 4 minutes (8x)
Come on
Yeah
Break down
Come on

(Madonna)
Come on boy
I've been waiting for somebody
To pick up my stroll

(Justin)
Well don't waste time
Give me a sign
Tell me how you wanna roll

(Madonna)
I want somebody to speed it up for me
Then take it down slow
There's enough room for both

(Justin)
Well, I can handle that
You just gotta show me where it's at
Are you ready to go
(Are you ready to go)

(Madonna & Justin)
If you want it
You already got it
If you thought it
It better be what you want
If you feel it
It must be real just
Say the word and imma give you what you want

(Madonna & Justin)
Time is waiting
We only got 4 minutes to save the world
No hesitating
Grab a boy
Grab a girl
Time is waiting
We only got 4 minutes to save the world
No hesitating
We only got 4 minutes, 4 minutes

(Madonna & Justin)
Keep it up, keep it up, don't be a pre - hey
Madonna, uh
You gotta get in line, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
That's right, keep it up, keep it up, don't be a pre - hey
Madonna, uh
You gotta get in line, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock

(Madonna)
Sometimes I think what I need is a you intervention, yeah

(Justin)
And you know I can tell that you like it
And that it's good, by the way that you move, ooh, hey

(Madonna)
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, yeah

(Justin)
But if I die tonight
At least I can say I did what I wanted to do
Tell me, how bout you?

(Madonna & Justin)
If you want it
You already got it
If you thought it
It better be what you want
If you feel it
It must be real just
Say the word and imma give you what you want

(Madonna & Justin)
Time is waiting
We only got 4 minutes to save the world
No hesitating
Grab a boy
Grab a girl
Time is waiting
We only got 4 minutes to save the world
No hesitating
We only got 4 minutes, 4 minutes

(Madonna & Justin)
Keep it up, keep it up, don't be a pre - hey
Madonna, uh
You gotta get in line, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
That's right, keep it up, keep it up, don't be a pre - hey
Madonna, uh
You gotta get in line, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock

(Timbaland)
Breakdown
Yeah
(tick tock tick tock tick tock)
Yeah, uh huh
(tick tock tick tock tick tock)
I only got 4 minutes to save the world

Esem

"Esem" is a mid-1990s hit from Filipino rock group Yano, which is included on their eponymous album. The song is a reference to SM City North Edsa, the very first super mall established by SM Prime Holdings, in Quezon City, Philippines. This mall is one of the favorite tambayan (hangout) of some University of the Philippines students, which members of Yano (Dong Abay and Eric Gancio) belong. In this song, they recount their experiences while loitering inside the mall without any money to buy things except for transportation fare and two cigarettes. It shows the true iskolar ng bayan (scholars of the nation), who strive hard to study with their little allowances.

"Laklak" was re-recorded to fit the mainstream audience. The lyrics of the song are somewhat controversial because it talks about alcoholism in the youth. Although, it can also viewed as a way to avoid alcoholism because the song shows how too much drinking can make a person looked like a police who has a big tummy. In 2002, a cover version by Gloc 9 and Dong Abay is included in the soundtrack of Videoke King , a Filipino film, which stars Robin Padilla and Pops Fernandez. This version of "Laklak" is included in the self-titled album of Gloc 9. Laklak Nagsimula sa patikimtikim Pinilit kong gustuhin Bisyo'y nagsimulang lumalim Kaya ngayon ang hirap t
