The Reason

“The Reason” is Hoobastank’s 2004 hit from their 2003 album with the same name. This is probably one of the most popular songs from this alternative rock band from California, United States. It landed on the number 2 spot in the Billboard Hot 100 charts and number 1 in the Modern Rock Tracks.

The song is about a person who wants to change the way he or she used to be. The person found a way to go back to his or her old self through a reason. And the reason is someone that the person broke up with.

In 2006, Welsh singer Tom Jones performed this song in his concerts.

" Laklak " is an alternative rock song by Filipino band Teeth. The song is included in their double-platinum eponymous album in 1995. " Laklak " reached number 1 for 12 weeks in LA-105, a former alternative rock station in Manila, and was voted as Song of the Year at 1995 NU 107 Rock Awards. "Laklak" was re-recorded to fit the mainstream audience. The lyrics of the song are somewhat controversial because it talks about alcoholism in the youth.
